Breaking it down, plain and simple
Clean rooms and friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the nearby Staten Island Ferry for free rides into Manhattan. A few hiccups at check-in but easily overshadowed by the pleasant environment. Just be prepared for street parking.

Great location and clean room, but noise from nearby traffic was bothersome at night.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable during my stay.
The check-in process was a nightmare. They claimed my ID was fake, which was not true. As a result, I felt frustrated and unwelcome right from the start. On top of that, the room floor was filthy, and I had to wear slippers to avoid walking on the dirt.

would definitely return
The Queen Room was super clean and had everything like a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, and comfy bed. Staff were friendly and helped with anything needed. It's located on a quiet street, which made for a nice, restful sleep. Easy access to Newark airport was a big plus too!

I stayed one night in the king room and was shocked by the misleading information. There were no basic amenities like a hair dryer, which I needed for my event. Service was unhelpful, and the location was uninviting. I recommend choosing a better hotel nearby.

The location was convenient, allowing easy access to my friends in the area, and the quiet environment was a major plus for relaxing after my activities. Although the cleanliness was acceptable, there were noticeably lacking amenities in the King Room with Roll-in Shower. I appreciated the homemade products available but expected more from the overall experience.

missingWrote a review on Jul 11cleanliness issues
Staying here, I was met with several specific disappointments. the photos portrayed a misleadingly polished establishment. instead, the view from my room included an abandoned building. Basic amenities were lacking—the room lacked a hair dryer, and I learned that not a single hair dryer is available within the entire hotel. The breakfast options were minimal, often depleted by the time guests arrive. The cleanliness certainly fell short. my socks turned dark from the dirty floor, which was uncomfortable. No closet space meant stowing away belongings was awkward at best. While the location offers access, it doesn't amount to much when basic hotel provisions aren't met.

The room was clean, and staff were friendly. The bathroom door locked unexpectedly, but staff helped fix it. Not ideal for families due to street safety concerns.

I really liked how clean my room was at Days Inn. The staff greeted me with warm smiles during check-in, making me feel welcomed right away. The location had easy access to public transport, which was great for exploring the area. However, I didn't feel safe parking on the street. Although the hotel offered shipping for breakfast, the options were limited and basic. A few more choices would have made it better. I also noticed that the layout wasn't very handicap-friendly since the bus area took up the front entrance. Overall, the stay had its highlights but definitely had some room for improvement.

I was really impressed by how clean and well-kept the hotel was. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my experience very pleasant. The surrounding area, although not picturesque, was accessible and convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
Improved parking options would be helpful for seniors.
